Identifying the crucial aspects of homeless people and them having multiple issues in the domain of health, nutrition & safety. Another issue was the homeless community being looked down upon by the society in which they live, making it difficult for them to have access to healthcare, food and shelter.

Insights from interviews :

. Establishment owners are willing to be a part of a social drive to help the homeless community.

. Offering money to homeless people is discouraged as they are aware of the huge drug problem.

. Helping homeless people by service owners at an individual level had a positive response considering the fact that this act should not affect their business in an adverse way.

. Types of services need customised design intervention in offering support to homeless community (the way in which restaurants can offer food is not the same for health clinics offering checkups).

Design Intervention:

A message board or a simple sticker that community individuals can put up in front of their establishments that convey what type of help are they offering (a health checkup, food, dental checkup etc) that acts as a message for welcoming homeless people in an effort to support and uplift them.
