In recent years, young people are becoming increasingly disenchanted with reading. Atsushi Ito believes that the reason for this is an unconscious rejection of reading among young people. It is perceived by young people as a mind-bending task after work or study. We know that instead of reading, they spend a lot of time in bed or on the sofa watching Youtube or Netflix.
Atsushi Ito came up with a design that combines a cushion and a book cover. What's more, the book cover detects when you're lying down and plays an audio trailer of the book for you. The book cover is designed to encourage people to read when they tend to be lazy after returning home.
