Capsule is a journaling app that helps people reflect on their past and current selves in a fun way by providing them with random entries that they have written in the past.

Using the time capsule as a metaphor, the app is designed to emphasise the element of surprise and serendipitous experience of rediscovering a part of a person's past.

When a journal entry is saved, it goes into a jar where it is stored. When the jar is tapped, a random entry will appear. Comments can be added to previous entries so that people may record new thoughts while reading old ones.

The app prototype was built with Sketch and Origami Studio.
