The brief for Data Visualisation week was to create an interactive web-based data visualisation using different tools like d3.js and an actual set of data. The goal was to introduce the class with data visualisation pipeline from the very early conceptual to late execution stages. The whole studio spent first days in the shoes of data scientists sourcing, scrubbing, analysing data sets related to energy topic and preparing it for further development.

Since the topic was given, Mantas decided to focus on a data set about CO2 emissions around the world. The interesting finding was that there is so much information available and a designer can interpret it and present in different ways by telling the story from a completely different angle.

COhh2 is a website built using d3.js library that represents the worldwide CO2 emission data from the same data set and points out the possibility being subjective as a designer by presenting average total worldwide CO2 emissions at first and ending up by reframing the information and presenting emissions per capita which have changed the leaderboard completely.
