Sound and visuals are connected. Particularly, sound enhances a visual experience. This study, however, explores how visuals can complement or enhance a sound experience.

A Processing program accesses the laptop camera, pixelates the live feed, and plays a note that corresponds to the RBG value of each pixel. Different “sheet music” was made using stock images and construction paper. Duration, color, and gradients were varied to explore the connections between a soundscape and visuals.
