Experimenting with a GoPro
As part of a week long course into experimental imaging taught by Matt Cottam and Timo Arnall, we were encouraged to explore imaging to its fullest. We took the opportunity to get to grips with a GoPro. We attached the GoPro to the end of a medical crutch, which we used to put under lakes, up drains, in the air and underneath animals. Every time we got the footage back we were surprised by what it had captured. Our aim was to find a new perspective to look at the world. We ended up capturing areas and speeds we would not normally be able to with the naked eye and in doing so, the outcomes have a dreamlike quality.
