Let's talk about Color

Student: Ana Acevedo  ·  Year: 2020  ·  Course: Graphical User Interface

Let’s Talk About Color is an app that creates an easy way for people to learn about the basics of color theory.

The app uses a fun and engaging user flow to introduce some of the basic, fundamental concepts of color theory, such as HSB, the color wheel, and common color schemes. The design also encourages the user to practice what they have learned. And it also allows people to create their own customizable color schemes that are housed within their own personal gallery.

In order to develop Let’s Talk About Color, the first step was to break up the concept into smaller parts inside Figma. Then Origami was used to add more complex animations for a higher fidelity prototype of the tool. During the process, user testing was fundamental to understand the natural flow of the system.
