Look Out is a traffic information app that helps city cyclists to identify dangerous areas and avoid accidents by warning them during the ride in a supportive way.

Cyclists will have the app open during the bike ride to be warned ahead about stressful and dangerous sights. But not only will they be always warned ahead, they may also report new stressful sights in a quick and efficient way.

The brief for this course was to create an app concept and prototype which tackles on of the topics within the UN Sustainable Development Goals for Health. The target group for this app are cyclists but also municipals — who are involved in the security of cyclists — the information on dangerous or stressful traffic sights can be a beneficial information for both involved parties.

The prototype was created using FramerJS which seem to be the best choice for a high-fidelity prototype. To test and present the prototype the phone was mounted on a handlebar, since the app is meant to be used while cycling in addition the speed can be controlled by tilting the handlebar.
