A disruptive pause for individuals in stressful situations
Research shows that mental health is one of the biggest challenges of our time. People regularly feel stressed and overwhelmed during daily activities such as work and/or study.
Pop! is a portable and accessible app which prompts movement as a tool to bring joy and reduce stress, as part of an active disruptive pause. It provides a short, guided routine based on stress levels. The aim is to reduce cortisol and adrenaline levels while releasing dopamine and serotonin.
Pop also sparks creativity by encouraging people to move freely with the music - creating a painting using their body movements. The app can be used either seated or standing up. When someone completes their routine, the app celebrates their accomplishment and offers the option to view previous saved creations.
Pop! helps people train, while producing hormones that induce joy, ultimately enabling individuals to achieve their goal of developing and maintaining a habit that helps them feel better.
