Readly: Enhancing long-form reading
Today, we consume a large percentage of our information using our digital devices. Advantageous as this is, the design of the medium has unfortunately made deep, focused reading of long but relevant non-fiction thought pieces harder. Through a series of digital micro-interventions, Readly imagines an environment suited for such articles through experiments focused on: Enhanced navigation capabilities to help the reader maintain focus and navigate; and Facilitated overall comprehension of such articles via its flexible interface. This exploratory interface can be part of a larger product/service that can help make reading, interpreting and having conversations around topical issues easier in the digital space, thereby promoting the consumption of long but important pieces.
