In relationship to the topic of finding meaning through information design, we were asked to compare the communication channels we use to keep in contact with people and interpret the data to visually express a meaningful pattern of our behavior.

This piece is about the time when the feeling of guilt for not getting back in touch appears. Counting the apologetic expressions and the frequency of conversations with different categories of people, I realized the feeling of guilt appears soon and strong towards the people I really care for.

I iterated my design several times to find a good balance between simplicity and entertainment in order to create an effective and appealing graphic for the reader. Asking someone oblivious about the topic to interpret your graphic is a good tip to test if the piece is communicative and significant.
