As part of our Rapid Experience Prototyping (GUI) course we were asked to design a weather app.

The purpose of the brief was to get a hands on experience with Origami as a rapid prototyping tool. The outcome was a high fidelity prototype of a weather app.

This app in particular was focused on helping kite surfers and windsurfers get a clear overview of the wind forecast for a particular location. Current wind forecast apps have a visual language that can seem overly complex or too limited in their scope to many people that practice these sports.

Viento, a wind forecasting app, provides the user with a comprehensive overview of the wind's speed, gusts and direction as well as information on the tide and overall weather.
