Inspired by Madeline Schwartzman's Face Nature project, the IDP class took to the jungle at La Selva Biological Station to find its own version.

As a part of our collective wilding process, we gathered materials we found in different parts of the jungle and embodied them on our faces and bodies. This pushed us to engage with nature through touch, not just seeing or hearing. Each student explored their own take; some gathering only dead materials, others taking to shapes, and others composing with structure.
